Position: Sourcing/Technical Manager

Years at Dion: 10

Responsibilities: Manage all purchasing, receiving, service, maintenance, facilities, special projects, etc.

What do you love about your job? Its diversity. Seems I’m never doing the same thing twice. Also, the Dion community is pretty awesome. Oh, and my new office. J

What drew you to Dion Label Printing originally? I was laid off from my Inside Technical Sales position at RotoMetrics when they closed their East Windsor, CT facility. Having just bought a house and with a pregnant wife, I scrambled to call all of my local accounts to see if they were hiring and Dion picked me up. Getting laid off turned out to be a blessing in disguise.

What has been your favorite label in recent years and why? Mizu. The combination of Black Vellum, silver hot stamp, and a varnish ‘watermark’ just oozes high-end. Although Black Birch Vineyard is creeping up on it.

What do you do for fun? Spend as much time as I can with my family, amateur photography, wrench on my car, tinker with random stuff

What is your personal philosophy? Anything worth doing is worth doing well.
